"We at Deity Down Records have a mission: to set loose good music onto the world. We won't ever sign a band because the genre is hot. We'll sign what WE think is good. As long as we feel that we ourselves would go out and buy what we release, we're sure we're doing the right thing.
The aim is to release hard rock, (heavy) metal, punk and hardcore. We treat our signings with respect, and do everything in our power to achieve the things that we promise and have agreed on doing.
We will not commit ourselves to CD alone, as we also are planning to release limited edition vinyls and maybe even the odd DVD. Other than that, the shop section, which is under construction, may also contain other merchandise, such as T-shirts.
The way for us to bring our bands to the attention of the public will mostly be through the Deity Down Records' and signed bands' websites and through webstores worldwide. This will especially be the case for vinyls. Possibly CD's and DVD's may also be found in physical retail outlets if need be. Your wish is our command.
Don't expect us to do 150 signings per year. Growth is important and scheduled, but not at all cost.

Op de myspace pagina laat men weten dat Hatred het label verlaat.

Via een persbericht verklaart men dat het Thanatos getekend heeft. In het eerste kwartaal van 2009 zal de op de plank liggende cd Justified Genocide verschijnen

Morton Black besluit het label te verlaten, net voor de release van het debuutalbum "Confusion of Existence". Een reden wordt vooralsnog niet gegeven.
